“A circle of women may be the most powerful force known to humanity. If you have one, embrace it. If you need one, seek it. If you find one, for the love of all that is good and holy, dive in. Hold on. Love it up. Get naked. Let them see you. Let them hold you. Let your reluctant tears fall. Let yourself rise fierce and love gently. You will be changed. The very fabric of your being will be altered by this, if you allow it. Please, please allow it.” // Jeanette LeBlanc
A day hike in October. Joshua Tree National Park. Like so many other aspects of that desert landscape, this felt holy and spiritual, but even in our reverence for what was around us, we laughed and were light-hearted and the spaces of quiet in between still felt held by togetherness.
These women and this retreat was one of the best things of 2017. A powerfully tender and loving group of women, sisters, healers, and spiritual midwives. I am grateful.
