I love the way the Universe works. Part of me is still ruminating on the words to explain how good this trip was, how deeply spiritual, how it brought together a circle of women that I will be connected to the rest of my days. Hell, 5 out of the 8 of us left with the same deeply meaningful tattoo inked on our bodies, the idea of which was birthed during one of our morning meditations and then fleshed out in the warm, sunny kitchen where we stayed.
Sometimes, I think the most meaningful things are the ones that need the least amount of words. This was such a deeply sacred place where I felt held, seen, and loved. I wasn't entirely sure what I would find in the desert when I boarded my first flight in Atlanta, but I am so grateful for all of my days that I went.
My deepest thanks to Morgan Wade for making this happen. If you aren't familiar with this incredible woman, check out her work here.
